Alex got Trouble's Lover groomed, picked up his english saddle, pad, and bridle, and tacked up. He led him down the isle to Do It's stall, where Cheyenne was waiting for him. "All ready to go?" He looked into her eyes and smiled again.

I turned and smiled. My hair was wrapped up in a perfect bun, and my black helemet bucketed on my head. "You bet!" I opened his stall and lead Do It out. I walked him out of the barn. "Do you want to ride to a public trail?"

Alex thought she looked beautiful. He stood staring for about 1 1/2 minutes until he shook his head. "Great!" He looked over at Trouble and patted the stallion's thick neck affectionately. "I think I want to go on one of Rosemond's trails. What do you think?" He looked at Do It. Impressive horse.

I mounted Do it. He was a wonderful kids horse, and he was her favorite. "Sounds like fun!" She cued him forward.

Alex grabbed his own helmet from his tack box. One...Two...Three. He mounted swiftly lightly gripping with his thighs, Trouble moved onward. He smiled at her. "Do you want to go on the Cross Country Trail?"

(I did!) Alex urged Trouble into a brisk trot. He threw his head. He wanted a good gallop. He rode off to the Cross Country Course.
